Royal Poop — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 September 2026

Royal Poop is an arcade shooting game. This policy covers both the Royal Poop app published on Google Play and the browser version at play.hektera.com. The game does not require an account and never asks for your name, email address or phone number.

The other pages on this site (home, this page, the contact page) run no analytics, no ads and no third-party scripts. Everything below applies to the game itself.

Stored on your device only, never sent to us

DataPurpose
Saved progress: the level you stopped at and your score on that level So the CONTINUE button works.
Sound on/off preference and the measurement opt-out preference So your choices are remembered next time.

These live in your device's local storage and are deleted when you uninstall the app or clear your browser data.

Collected and sent

DataWhere it goesPurpose
Gameplay events: level started, level finished, attempt number, shots used, time spent on the level, session length, your score and high score, highest level reached, ad events Google Analytics To see which levels are too hard or too boring and balance the game.
Device type, OS version, screen size, language Google Analytics To make sure the game runs correctly on different phones.
Analytics client identifier: a random number stored on your device, not linked to your name Google Analytics To connect two sessions from the same device so we can count returning players.
Approximate location (country and city level) derived from your IP address Google Analytics To see which countries players come from. Precise location is not collected.
Advertising ID (Android Advertising ID), app set ID, IP address (used to estimate approximate location), your interactions with ads, and diagnostic information Google AdMob To serve and measure in-game ads and to prevent fraud.

Never collected: name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise GPS location, microphone or camera data, payment details. The game requests none of these permissions.

Turning measurement off

Press and hold the speaker button inside the game for about one second. You will see Ölçüm KAPALI ("measurement off"). From that moment no request is sent to Google Analytics. Hold it again to re-enable.

The preference is stored on that device. One caveat for the browser version: Safari on iPhone may clear the storage of sites you have not visited for a while, which erases the preference too, so you would need to turn it off again. In the app version the preference is permanent.

This button does not turn off ads. See the section below for the ad side.

Ads

The game shows ads in two places: a rewarded video offered when you lose a level, which grants extra shots, and a full-screen ad between levels at higher levels. Watching the rewarded video is entirely optional; if you skip it the game continues normally.

Ads are served by Google AdMob. AdMob uses your device advertising ID, app set ID, IP address (approximate location), ad interactions and diagnostic information to select and measure ads and to filter out invalid traffic.

You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings under Settings → Privacy → Ads. Ads still appear after you delete it, but they are no longer selected for you.

The game is not currently published in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland. When we launch there, the game shows Google's consent screen on first launch; if you do not consent, you only see non-personalised or limited ads.

Third parties

We use Google Analytics for measurement and Google AdMob for ads. Both are operated by Google and the data is processed on Google servers outside Türkiye. You can read how Google handles this data in the Google Privacy Policy. We never sell or rent your data to anyone.

Security

All of the data above travels from your device to Google encrypted with TLS (HTTPS). We run no server or database of our own. Measurement data exists inside our Google Analytics account, which only we can access; advertising data is held in Google's advertising systems under Google's control, and as a publisher we have no access to it.

Retention

Event-level and user-level records in Google Analytics are kept for at most 14 months and are then deleted automatically. Aggregate reports derived from them, which cannot be traced back to a person, are not deleted. In Google's advertising server logs, part of the IP address is anonymised after 9 months and cookie and identifier information after 18 months. Progress stored on your device is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear your browser data; if Android system backup is on, that progress is also written to your own Google account backup, which we cannot access.

Children

Royal Poop is not designed for children and does not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child's data has been collected, write to us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Email artun@hektera.com and we will respond free of charge within 30 days. Deletion inside Google Analytics can take Google up to 63 days. As a publisher we cannot delete advertising-side data; you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings. Players in Türkiye also hold the rights listed in article 11 of Turkish law no. 6698; those are set out in full on the Turkish version of this page.

Changes

If we update this policy we change the date on this page. If a change is significant we announce it inside the game.
